Gabrielle Union is covering the latest edition of Essence Magazine. The beautiful brown sista once again rages against the gossip blogs and for the first time openly talks about her relationship with basketball player Dwayne Wade.

ESSENCE’s September issue cover girl Gabrielle Union has a message for all of the “haters”—bring it on! With a new sci-fi gig and a turn as a producer in the works, as well as finding a new love, the Hollywood starlet is busy reinventing her brand and enjoying the ride. But, as she tells ESSENCE in the article Living My Life, it’s the recent gossip about her love life from bloggers—claiming that she’s done everything from given birth to partying with a different man on her arm each night—that hurts the most. However she’s not backing down, and now tells ESSENCE how she is fighting back.

I’m sick of Gabrielle on the cover of Essence, can they not find any other available actress besides her..And she’s claiming that the blogs were lying on her but I remember hearing rumors about her and Dwayne Wade way back before he got a divorce and now they’re together..I don’t believe she’s as innocent as she pretends to be and yes she was a frequent party hopper before she got serious with Dwayne..But she doesn’t have to explaine because if she did break up his marriage she’ll get whats coming to her.
Let me be the first to predict that Nia Long will cover the next edition of Essence. This magazine is so typical. They live off of drama now and everytime drama pops off with a sista she gets a cover. Nia is next up and half the article will be about the Beyonce acting controversy.

I like Ms. Gabby – always have and I enjoy reading about her and seeing her pics. That said, I would really love it if Essence stepped out and got some new faces on the cover for a change – the same old is getting old! What about Lela James for instance? She makes excellent music but is so under-played. Also, Laura Izabor is another sister they could do a piece on – start stepping out and stepping up Essence! Okay, rant over. Have a happy weekend ladies.

I bet she’s just going on & on in this interview about blogs talking about her. I don’t dislike her but her constantly addressing issues surrounding her yet claiming to not want to or not get into it too much is a major turn off and makes me not want to support her.

I agree w/ the majority Essence NEEDS to find NEW ppl to discuss in their magazine. This is like Gabby’s 50th cover w/ these ppl..smdh.
I like Gabby & I Think she is a good actress, but I also agree I am tired of her griping about the blogs. The blogs are the ones who keep her name out there whether good or bad. But even still if you know something is NOT true & you have said it time & time before that it is NOT true, why continue to waste your breath repeating yourself when ppl are gonna say what they want? That right there makes me wonder about her situation. Also not saying that it is or is not the case, but just b/c a person says it’s not true, does it REALLY mean it’s not? Ppl lie all the time. Don’t expect the person who steals from someone to confess… they will only deny deny deny. EVEN w/ solid hardcore proof.
well..why are people surprised? man..! ask every dude about essence magazine and they can tell you whats going to be on the next cover..lol
