While appearing on last night’s episode of the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, actress Gabrielle Union teamed up with the show’s host to play a pair of dorky school administrators who lay down the law during their daily Morning Musical Announcements segment.
The duo pass out notices to students via the school’s PA system, usually to the tune of a popular song. Principal Davidson (Jimmy) and Vice Principal Cook (Gabby), among other things, inform students they can no longer use Facebook in school to the tune of Can’t Feel My Face by The Weekend, as well as an anti-truancy warning sung to the tune of Silento’s Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae).
The highlight of the skit, however, was student Mitchell Henderson being informed he’d yet to pay his field trip dues, sung to the tune of Rihanna’s Bitch Better Have My Money.
Vice Principal Cook got a little excited during her delivery, belting out “Pay me what you owe me, Mitch. Don’t let me catch you slipping,” before Principal Davidson was able to calm her down.
It was all very cute… check out the video below.
