Gabrielle Union’s Walk Of Style

Gabrielle Union looked especially regal last night as she walked the red carpet at the 2009 Rodeo Drive Walk of Style Award Ceremony. Gabrielle can presently be seen in the ABC drama “Flash Forward”, where she plays the character of Zoey, who is the love interest of Demitri Noh. Gabrielle’s interracial relationship on the show is being hailed by many, as it is the first time an African American female and Asian male have been paired together on prime time television. Next up for Gabby is the “Body Politic” which is due to debut in 2010 and “The Van Zandt Shakedown” which is currently still listed in pre-production.

  1. don’t really care for how that dress is made. It has a really awkward shape. She looks gorgeous though, but sometimes comes off as a hyprocrite with her talking about how bad the black blogs are, and then supporting the white ones.

  2. It’s about time somebody said it. People so busy attacking Alicia Keys for her relationships and choice of where to debut her video that they have forgotten about people like Gabrielle who have been doing the same for years. Gabrielle always talking against black blogs while giving praise to bloggers like Pez Hilton who probably hasn’t written about her on his blog ever.

  3. @MRSJONES- maybe she supports the white blog sites because they dont dog celebs out like the black ones(exception of perez), not saying that all black ones do but…you understand.

  4. Her foundation is a little grayish for me. and the dress is awkwardly cut, but also too long or too short.
    I love Gabby.

  5. This look ages her somewhat.

Girl no, perez hilton and tmz talk just as much ish as any black blog, and they can sometimes be somewhat racist! idk, to each it’s own

  7. I said with the exception of perez and im not a girl.

  8. Different look for her. She looks ok

  9. @MSJONES Exactly!

I really, really don’t understand this mindset from black celebrities that black blogs should be filled with praising comments and great press when none of the white blogs are held to that standard by white celebrities. Honestly I am always WTF? about this attitude when the white blogs and white tabloids give about 1/4th of a page to black celebrities–and even then, tend to focus on whatever black celeb is deemed okay for mainstream consumption. For YEARS I thought black celebrities (A-List to Z-List) never attended events because US Weekly and People magazine, and the major white blogs never posted pictures of them or featured articles on their doings. They need to be thankful that black people stepped into the gap to start black celebrity blogs–for better or worse–or they would be 100% absent from the gossip game.
