Actress Halle Berry was one of eight women honored last night by Elle Magazine at their 15th Annual Women in Hollywood event. Halle, along with Salma Hayek, Jane Fonda, Nicole Kidman, and others, were honored for what Elle calls their profound impact on the industry. Elle editor-in-chief Robbie Myers explained that the selection of these eight amazing women was simple: “The honorees this year are remarkable. They have pushed boundaries both on screen and on behalf of all women in Hollywood,” she said. “They have conquered this industry with grace and style, and we at Elle feel they should be commended for their contributions to this field.”
Halle received her honor with longtime boyfriend Gabriel Aubry by her side and was congratulated by fellow actress Kerry Washington who also showed up for the festivities.

I’m not a big fan of Kerri, but she is killing it here! I love the light touch of pink lip gloss she’s wearing. Did anybody see her in LAKEVIEW TERRACE? She was so “Becky” in that movie. It was funny.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… Halle Berry is so admired by me for taking her time to shed the “baby weight”. She and maybe Salma Hayek are like the only two in Hollywood to take their time to do so, as one should.
