How Will You Ring In The New Year?

As we begin the countdown to the New Year, some of us are on the hunt for that perfect outfit to help ring in 2010. Some of us are probably in deep thought, reflecting on the year that we have had, and thinking, plotting, and planning for things to come. And oh yeah, some of us are trying to figure out where we are going to go to get in our greens and our black-eyed peas.

Some of us have lost love ones this year and some of us have welcome little ones into our families. Some of us have had the time of our lives this year. While some of us are probably thinking that 2010 can’t come fast enough.

Me, well I am grateful for the year that I have had, but yet oh so excited about the year to come. So, I won’t be doing too much partying this New Year’s Eve. I will probably be fighting to stay awake as I lay on my momma’s couch. Lol!

Well, I want to wish all of the Brown Sista readers the best in the year to come. I hope you find yourself more motivated than ever to go out there to make your dreams come true. In the New Year, I hope you become stronger, wiser, and so much better!

Happy New Years!

  1. Thanks for posting this. Me myself? I won’t be @ any over priced & crowded parties, been there and done that. this year I will be spending it with my Honey… playing wii fit, drinking shots, eating some home cooked meals… reflecting, and praying for the Lord to bless me with a better year.

I wish you Brownsistas all the happiness in the world… May all our dreams become reality in 2010 🙂

  2. This New Year will be a little different for me.

I just found out that I am expecting baby #2. My daughter is six, I’m thirty-four, I have a wonderful career, and I am with someone who I have loved for a really long time.

My daughter’s father and I have a really good relationship. He made a career move some time ago that cost us our relationship. Tragedy somehow bought us back together. My grandmother passed away in September 17th of this year. His grandmother passed away November 17th of this year. She was like his mother, so when he needed me I was there as I always have been. Somewhere around that time we made love, and got pregnant. We were not trying in fact I had an IUD. Which last time I had checked was fine.

He will be moving back in town soon. And hopefully we can do it right this time.

So I will be spending my New Year’s eve with my daughter and my Love.

  3. If I don’t go to a party (highly likely) then I will ring in the new year listening to some awesome tunes and playing in my makeup. Maybe take some photos.

  4. I’ll be @ home w/ fam, doing our annual New Yrs Eve radio show (fun times).

Lately, I’ve been doing some reflecting on this year and the past 5-10 yrs of my life. I’m excited about 2010 and I wish everyone a blessed and prosperous new year 🙂

  5. I am going to bring it in this year with prayer. Doing it different this year. No clubbing this year.

  6. I think I want to club this year. I always stay home or go to church. But lately I have been feeling that I have not been living my fun years. I want to experience having a hangover and partying til daybreak. Yeah, I said it, I am tired of being a goody two shoes each year. I have always wanted to dance in a cage thingy at a club…maybe this year.

  7. I’m not going anywhere. I always stay home & watch Tv or talk on the phone.

I hate clubs, I hate crowded areas & I just hate being around noisy people period. lol

  8. Well i live in Australia!

So for my new years. Me and my friends got this spot on the Harbour Bay and watched the AMAZING fireworks from the Harbour Bridge!!

It was such a fun night 😀

  9. Went to church to thank God for seeing another year… My daughter and I
