I’m sure most of you know who Jackie Christie is by now.She gained fame a few years back when I believe Charles Barkley put her on blast and referred to her publicly as a controlling and insecure wife.Jackie is of course the wife of NBA star Doug Christie and the lengths to which they have gone to keep him faithful is the stuff legends are made of.Feeling their union has been misunderstood and misrepresented in the media, The Christies have set out to prove to the world that are are truly in love and deeply “Committed” to one another.How do they plan to do that you ask? How else, with a new reality show airing on BET.
Though I have not caught the show yet, I do love Jackie’s style as she is truly working her new found fame.Jackie is hoping to prove that she is more than Doug’s so-called crazy wife and that she does indeed have talents and interests outside of keeping her husband on a short leash.

“Jackie Christie was born in Seattle , Washington . She realized her passion for fashion as a child. She often “put on” fashion shows for her family, dressing up her sisters and “designing” clothes and accessories. Jackie also began modeling and had a consistent career in the field — appearing in runway shows and print.
Jackie met her husband Doug in 1992. Soon thereafter, Doug was drafted into the NBA. While they courted, Jackie moved forward with her career goals in fashion, opening a clothing boutique in Seattle , featuring women’s children’s and men’s apparel. Though Jackie first entered fashion as a model and then as a retailer, she always knew that designing was her ultimate goal.”
