Tiffany’s Taps Janelle Monae for Fall Campaign
Singer Janelle Monae is lending her fabulously flawless face to Tiffany & Co.’s upcoming fall 2017 ad campaign. Titled There’s Only One, the Hidden Figures star is joined by a cluster of female entertainers who the company says “represent the power of individuality and self-expression.”
“I think being an individual is one of the more exciting things about being alive,” Monae recently told People magazine. “To be able to live and love and express who we really are is what drives us a nation and as a people.”
And as an equally expressive artist and performer, Janelle says she’s all about inspiring others through her art. “I think that individuality and embracing the things that make you unique is important to humanity, for others around you who may be uncomfortable, with their uniqueness, to finally feel confident in just being just them, and understanding that they were made, you know, unique for a specific purpose.”
Janelle’s photoshoot, which you can check out above, was shot by famed photographers Inez & Vinoodh. It is a part of Tiffany & Co.’s new artistic chief, Reed Krakoff’s, attempt at modernizing the company and appealing to a younger demographic.
In addition to Monae, Zoe Kravitz, Elle Fanning and Cameron Russel are also featured.
