Janet Jackson Covers Vibe Magazine- Twice

The world’s most fabulous ICON, Janet Jackson will grace the April 2008 cover of Vibe Magazine. But because Janet is the ultimate diva- she doesn’t get just one cover- but two. The first cover is an obvious salute to her brother Michael’s groundbreaking Off The Wall album- and the second is just Janet being Janet- sexy and casual. This is Vibe’s first ever “Photo Issue”, so expect some spectacular pics of Janet to be inside the magazine as well.

By the way, my favorite cover is the first one- Janet as Michael. Which do you guys prefer?

    Janet is hot to def, have been listening to Discipline all damn day. The album is very good and Ne-Yo worked the hell out of the title track. Janet takes over the airwaves next week so get ready fans. I love both covers but the first is my favorite as well. :thumbsup: :dance1:

    No matter how old Janet gets and how long she stays away, some how we find a way to embrace her & I think that’s terrific! Janet will always be top notch diva and fierce baby! Her & Micheal have that everlasting stardom that commands attention, I mean how could u hate! I can’t wait for her to hit the airwaves and start premiering videos. Both mag covers are cute, but I’ll go for the second, even though its typical it’s still so sexy and playful and well…u know that’s just Janet, a sex kitten!

    i like them both. i saw them earlier. i like the first one. the second one reminds me of the All For You Era. white tank top and blue jeans. she’s awesome. i’m getting both if i have to. gotta keep my magazine collection growing. lol.

    Now I know I am old. I was browsing sites today that also have these pics posted and don’t you know those fools had no idea Janet was parodying Michael in the first pic. I was like damn, you people are stupid and then I realized that those fools were just young. Somebody posted a pic of Mike’s album and then they got it. They didn’t even know about Off The Wall. I swear I felt ancient and sad that this bit of Black musical history was lost of those fools. :dance1:

    still love janet, but think that it is terrible that young artists can’t push the media. like bigger artists can. so we get madonna, janet, mariah, mary, and beyonce’. but not much else.

    @Janet’s pics…The woman is just beautiful. I am such a fan that it surprises me. I haven’t “stanned” overe anyone since my early 20’s (Tupac and DMX). I

    I think that she is so “perfect” that people can’t help but hate on her…she sort of knocks down all of the excuses. Cant say “I’d like to get a great body–but I’m too old..” because she disproves that…or

    “I can’t get a chance to shine–because so and so is in the spotlight” She managed to be the JAckson 5’s “baby sister” and of all things, MICHAEL’s baby sister–and still shine.

    “Can’t say “the industry only gives you a chance if you look non-black…” because she is a brown sista and everyone who I have ever seen interview her has commented on how gorgeous she is “in person”.

    Can’t say “something negative happened, I got blackballed, and its over for me–I’ll just give up” because here is a person who was embarrassed on national tv, villianized for it, but is still pushing forward…

    Cant say “I have a right to be a b!!ch because I’m this or that,” because here is a person who by all appearances is still very humble (see Tyler Perry and castmates comments on the Why Did I Get Married DVD).

    So…yep, I’m a stan. Love the photos. Thanks Steph

They want to see her cry thet blues and give up and she won’t do it. That’s right Jan .. don’t let them see you sweat. She’s held her head high and I think that says I lot about her. And a lot of her haters are her “brothers and sisters” … go figure. They can go listen to Justin then, lol. Janet’s the truth, forever and always. Get it girl.

    She’s timeless….love her. She’s one of the few artists that I would pay money to see because she’s a “real” performer. The Velvet Rope tour was my favorite. Still watch the video from time to time. Xexy. :thumbsup:

    My favorite picture is one I saw of her about a week ago when she was accepting some kind of image award I think. She was all natural (well, except for the nose and boob job) Anyway, she looked sooo cute to me. Her weave was out and she had her natural hair cut REAL REAL short and it was a pretty auburn color and kinda almost looked like a Jheri curl, but it was the natural curls of her hair. To me she looked sooo cute because she was just being herself and not even tryin’. She was dressed conservatively and age appropriate. She was lookin’ real sexy, and I bet she didn’t even realize it. Sometimes, less is more….. I’m also diggin’ Rhianna’s new short look too. Just goes to show you, when you’re fine, you’re fine, and you don’t need all the smoke and mirrors. Don’t hate.
