Janet Jackson wowed the international press last night when she showed up for the annual amfAR Milano Gala decked out in a navy blue wrap Versace gown. The singer was accompanied by designer Donatella Versace, as well as supposed ex-boyfriend Jermaine Dupri. Janet is expected back in the U.S. later on this week, at which time she is said to be finishing up work on her new book and album.

She looks good, but I think her hair should’ve been up w/ a dress like that. She is so pretty though, I saw one of her old videos the other day, and it’s crazy, it’s like she looks younger now or something. I’m so glad I’m black.

Funny you say that. When Janet wanted to play Dorothy Dandridge (Halle got the part), she stepped out at a couple of functions with shorter hair and dressed similarly to the legendary actress.
