More Janet Jackson News: CD Title
The Janet Jackson news is coming fast and furious this morning. No sooner than I post one story I get another e-mail with even more info. I posted earlier that Janet’s new CD title was unknown and that is no longer the case. Janet’s new CD is titled “Discipline”.
I have to say I really impressed with all the moves LA Reid is making with Janet. From the single to the album title and even the promo shot, which I poster a bigger version of, everything is just perfect. I have a feeling already for the direction of this new CD and understand completely why the name Discipline was chosen.

According to CNN, Janet’s new song “Feedback” is the subject of 1.34 million blogs around the world in a matter of 5 hours, and radio stations across the country has been swamped with hundreds of thousands of phone calls to play the song, making “Feeback” the most successful debut leak in music history. Major radio station website has been stalled because traffic for the song spiked damn near ninety percent. They said no other leak has generated this much buzz and anticipation since, well, never. And it hasnt even been released yet. The ablum will be released February 26, 2008 and she is currently shooting the video at an undisclosed location.

I REALLY like Janet’s new single. I am a devout Janet fan. I love her. She is the original and it is hard for THE original to copy all those that came WAY after her (Beyonce, Rihanna, Cassie, Britney, etc) I’m excited for her new CD. This song sounds nothing like Britney Spears. Miss Spears is a joke who can’t even be trusted to care for her own children. Why is her name even mentioned in the same sentence with Janet?
I do not understand why Janet has been getting such a bad rap. People talk about her like she killed their parents or cheated them out of millions. There is nothing wrong with this song. The beat is hot and the lyrics are very tongue in cheek sassy.

OK I’m gonna have to keep it all the way real here. If this was a single from any of the popular young singers like________(insert singer) everybody would be taking about how meaningless the lyrics are and how the production is like anything you would find on Britney Spears latest release. Since it’s Janet though it’s OH SO HOT, come on give me a break the song is ok at best and will get some airplay(because it fits right in with the other poptartie stuff out there) and may even climb the charts a bit(but I’m sorry I don’t think it will reach number one). And don’t get me wrong I like Janet and I think the whole nipplegate thing was ridiculously over blown cause **** accidents happen and it was not all her fault so it should not have only affected her career but she’s just not bringing it like she use to for me. I would really like to see her on top again but she needs to come with better music than this. This song sounds like something Britney Spears would do, yes. I’m not complaining about the lyrics because it’s pop music! I don’t care with ‘this’ one. And YES because it’s Janet, I give this song a chance, just as I did her “So Excited” song … I gave it a chance, knowing it was fluff/pop and I didn’t like the mo-fo.
