According to MTV.com, Janet Jackson will attend this year’s Video Music Awards. The website says Janet will open this year’s show with a musical tribute to her brother, but disputes the claim that choreographer Frank Gatson is involved in the production. Instead, Janet fans are claiming the singer will team up with her former choreographer, Tina Landon, who worked with Janet on some of her greatest videos, including the Scream video which featured her brother Michael.
This year’s show will air live Sunday, September 13th at 9pm and will feature performances by Pink, Lady Gaga, Beyonce and many more.

So true, why would anyone dare to perform after or before Janet, especially now that she plans on giving a tribute to her big brother. Janet is about to shut it down. If the Scream Video is any indication, Janet is as bad as her brother, MJ is about to come through and Janet is going to PUT IT DOWN REAL HARD. I can’t wait. It would be best if she’s the closing act, cuz the others will be overshadowed. I have a question pertaining to MJ, can anyone tell me if Chris Tucker and Mj remained good friends until his death, or did they stop being friends? I think they were still cool, because there are photos of Chris Tucker boarding a chartered jet issued to MJ.

Aw o.k.. the last time I got a good look at Janet was when she walked across the stage at the BET Awards and gave her thanks to the fans and such. She looked hefty then… I know her weight goes up and down…
