Jennifer Hudson Joins the The Voice UK as Coach
Jennifer Hudson has signed on to become a coach on the upcoming sixth season of The Voice UK. The Academy Award-winning singer and actress is set to join Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale and veteran coaches Will.I.Am and Tom Jones when the show returns to air next month.
Jennifer broke the news to Team JHUD via Facebook earlier today, writing “I couldn’t be happier joining the amazing panel of coaches on The Voice UK. The United Kingdom has always been so supportive of me since the beginning of my career. I can’t wait to get started discovering and developing new talent.”
In addition to her new coaching duties, Jennifer will also be putting the finishing touches on her upcoming 4th studio album. L.A. Reid and Clive Davis will be executive producing the project, which they hope to have ready for an early 2017 release.
Fans hoping to see Jennifer back on the big screen are also in luck, as she’ll be co-starring alongside Adam Sandler in the Netflix-produced film Sandy Wexler. Jennifer will play a singer who beguiles Adam’s character- a bumbling Hollywood agent looking for his own big break.
