Jennifer Hudson will return to her hometown of Chicago to film her very own ABC Christmas special. The network says the singer/Academy Award winning actress will tape “Jennifer Hudson: I’ll Be Home For Christmas” in her hometown so she can share childhood memories of the music, people and places that set the stage for her career. Musical performances will be filmed on location throughout the city- including the Academy where Jennifer studied performing and the church where she grew up singing.
Good For Her
Wow. Very nice.
She is a silent slayer!!!
Can’t wait!
I agree Rockon!! She definitely is a quiet storm. She is not a media hog or trying to conquer the world. She is holding her own and enjoying what she has been blessed with and blessing us in the process. I wish her all the best that God has for her and her family.
Loves it!!!!
That is fantastic! I can’t wait! I hope she makes a holiday cd to accompany the show. I would really be in hog heaven then,
@ROCK ON- I WAS JUST THINKIN- iM TELLIN YOU jENNIFER SING r&b BUT HER VOICE IS GOD GIVEN, ERRYTIME I HEAR HER SING I FEEL LIKE CRYING-GOOSEBUMPS RIDICULOUS.
Thats wonderful cnt wait to see it,saw her baby pic and my spirit got lighter, didnt want kids but i think i need to rethink…
This young lady gives me hope. Jennifer can SANG. She is beautiful and talented and doesn’t have to be wh0ri5h to gain fans. I know shes gone take us to church.
I will definately watch. There are three, four women I’d watch sing for hours, Beyonce, Jennifer Hudson, Vanessa Williams, and Julie Andrews(she’s slowly singing again). And I hope she does a holiday album. Come December, all I do is listen to Christmas songs non-stop. Now with Jennifer, I’ll have the tv cut down low, twitting about flat nd sharp notes, but I’ll still be watching cause she’s only one of the few I consider good singers.
Love jhud (dat voice) n she lookin good 2!
she is ok, her voice is too strong to be singing r and b. she need to be singing gospel
SURAB. hopefully she stays that way.
I perdoct this will be a very emotional experience for her “share childhood memories of the music, people and places that set the stage for her career”. So many gone. Good Luck Jennifer, Love your spirit!

That’s not true. That’s whats wrong with music today. All of the good R&B singers of yesterday had too strong of voices to fit in with this crowd and that is the problem. Look how mariah carey dumbed down her voice to fit in, it’s pathetic, thats why bootleg is on the rise.
oh but I would love a gospel album. She can do it.
