Jennifer Williams Bids ‘BW’ Adieu

Was Tahiti the straw that finally broke Jennifer Williams’ back? To hear the ‘Basketball Wives’ star tell it, the answer is a resounding YES!

In an open letter published earlier today, Jennifer says her trip to Tahiti with her castmates was an eye opener and alluded to season four being her last.

“This season for me seemed no matter what I did it wasn’t going to be right, so I stopped trying. Tahiti was the last straw for me, we were half way around the world and I didn’t go there to argue or fight. I just wanted peace, but soon realized that wasn’t going to happen unless I was secluded from those that were determined to argue and fight,” Williams said Tuesday. “Arguing with former friends, slinging dirt back and forth was something I could have done in Miami not there.”

After sitting down to speak with Eveleyn ‘Pig Nose’ Lozada during the season finale, Jennifer says she realized that not only was their relationship finished, but that castmates who she thought supported her, did not.

“I feel some of the ladies who claimed to be my friend and claimed to be neutral made snide and slick remarks along with snickering about me. This proved to me that they indeed were not at all neutral,” says Jen.

Jennifer also took a moment to speak directly to Lozada, saying: “As we all have witnessed before, unfortunately our relationship has not survived the pressures and effects of a reality show and all that comes with it. As difficult and hurtful as it may be, I will continue to be resolute with my decision to respect what our friendship was and not where is has gone.”

In closing, Jennifer wished the ladies well, and gave the impression to many that she would not be on board for the drama that will surely ensue when season five debuts next year.

“I will always appreciate Basketball Wives Season 4 and this time in my life for the abundant lessons learned and personal growth I was forced to face. We all have our own individual imperfections, but I also believe we all have a good heart. As women of color it is important we uplift and support one another. I wish all my cast mates continued success and best wishes with their future endeavors. Thank you to all my family and friends and loyal supporters for all the love during this trying season. Please continue to support me and my current ( and future business ventures.”

  1. Yep, good for Jen! She wasn’t perfect, but BBWs is just on some alien planet. At least, Jen has gotten something out of the deal and will have continued success and celebrity as her business models grow without being her sidekick. This is why Evelyn hates her!

  2. Evelyn was never Jennifer’s friend and I knew that two seasons ago watching her try to get Jen to cheat on and divorce her husband. Evelyn is one of those women whose value comes from having a man. She hated Jen being able to wear the badge of married woman while she was just a throw away groupie who had taken one too many cum shots to the face.

I also think Evelyn is a bigot. Most women who dabble in black d !ck hate black women and have a superiority complex. I always felt that vibe from her and knew it for sure when she accused Jen of wanting to be white cause she wears contacts.

Some would argue her attachment to black men makes her want to be a black woman.

Itches like her think they slick but I can see all the way through them.

  3. I guess good for her but it is season 4 so she contributed to what the show has become. It didn’t get that way overnight and whatever Jennifer hates now about the show she has to admit she played a part in making it that way.

  4. I think Tami is responsible for the overwhelming negativity on the show. She brought a trailer park mentality to the show and Evelyn decided to just follow suit. I don’t think violence entered the show until Tami came on board.

  5. To remove herself from the drama and negative arena of “catty” women was a very wise and smart business move on Jennifer Williams part. I respect her more! Go Jen!

  6. Wow Lourdez. Tell us how u really feel.i respect Jen even more now. They argued for so long and they agree to disagree so get over it. The crypt keeper just wouldnt let it go.jen moved on to bigger and better things realizing how petty the ish was. She was going thru a divorce and a lot of emotional ish. She put her inner self first and got it together. Now shaunie has second thoughts about how she looks being involved with tami and the crypt keeper.

  7. Lourdez you took the words from right out of my mouth, those types of women are so obvious I can sense that so clearly about Evelyn.

  8. @ Lourdez………………..YOU went ALL the way there huh???? LOL that was funny but I know you are probably serious in your comments on this matter.

It’s truly sad but refreshing at the same time that this season has resulted in so much backlash. I personally think that it’s refreshing b/c these women are seeing themselves and that’s beautiful…………….that’s growth.

Looking in the mirror is ALWAYS a painful thing to do when you think that you are God’s best creation. Reality has hit these women dead smack in the face and they see, hear, feel, and know what others see and think of them. Their mouths say that they don’t care but their actions and constant defense of the non sense says otherwise.

Good for Jen and I wish her the best in everything that she does. Hopefully one day, when the emotions subside on both sides, both her and Evelyn can sit down and have a conversation about why Evelyn is so hurt by whatever it is that she is hurt about. This will only happen if they were truly friends…………..shrugs

  9. All of that and she IS coming back for season 5. Its called a paycheck and publicity she is not ready to give up either.

  10. Tammy & Evelyn set us waaaaaaaaaaaaay back. Their behavior was disgusting and because of them I had to stop watching. They are bullies and need to watch the documentary that the kids had to watch in school about bullying. I don’t even know children that act like that. TRASH.

  11. Not to mention, them fools aren’t even BBW……stupid!

  12. Jennifer is the only College Educated woman on the show (w/a Master’s Degree – You better WERK!)

Tami has self-esteem issues and its quite clear when her husband divorced her and she ran back to the Projects from living the life of luxury. (SHE SIGNED A PRENUP AND DIDN’T GET CHILD SUPPORT OR SPOUSAL SUPPORT)! BIG DUMMY
She looks back over her life and that’s where all of the frustration comes from — NOT STAYING!

Evelyn Always wanted Jen’s lifestyle. She’s definitely going to get it but it’s going to COST!!!

Shaunie should have went back to school while she was married to Dr. Shaq! There was no excuse. She had the $$ and nannies. She’s classless and I bet he’s laughing at her silly ass.
