Karrine Steffans Steps Out

posted by Debra on November 9th, 2006 at 10:25 am

Karrine Steffans, or “Superhead” as she is affectionately known in the business, was out and about last night as she showed up at a party to celebrate TMZ.com’s one year anniversary.I know a lot of people do not like this woman and may find it odd that we would even cover her here, but I personally admire her because I think she is a survivor. It takes one helluva woman to go through what she went through as a child and a woman and walk away with not only your head held high but to be able actually flip the script and make all that negativity work for you is nothing short of amazing to me.Anyway, you can Check out Karrine’s pics below and look for the hqs in our gallery soon.

  1. something sexy in DC

 I can’t belive I came across someone else that thinks the same way that I think about her… I feel ya…

  2. There are plenty of men and women out there who support Karrine in her quest to change her life and uplift other women.Far too many just want to dismiss her as a ***** without looking into how and why she ended up the way she did.She was sexually abused as a child and pimped out my Cool G Rap at the age of 17.All her life she had been used as nothing but a sex object and it was all she knew.

We need people like Karrine to rag on so we feel better about ourselves and her turning the tables on all the big men in the business who also helped pimp her just wasn’t the way things are done.We feel as though she should have ended up dirt poor and broke out on the streets but instead she is on top and doing quite well for herself.

We should be happy for her but we are too busy calling names and looking for people to look down on.I’m happy Karrine turned the tables and wrote about the filth in the industry as well as the sexual abuse of women in general.

I wish her all the best.

  3. Was Karine really trying to help women or just herself to some quick cash?

  4. She loves the limelight doesn’t she?

  5. She’s about to pose for Playboy- who still thinks she’s doing what she does to help others? This chick is a cheap tramp and the more she does the more she proves what a low life homw wrecking ***** she is.

I do not wish to speak negatively of our sister so I will just wish her blessings and hope that she find peace within herself.

  7. Well I will speak ill of her fa sure. She is now writing part 2 of her book titled “The Vixen Diaries” and word is she takes aim at Chris Rock this time.Apparently she left his name out of her mouth (that’s about all she let outta her mouth) in her first book because he was married but now that he is divorcing Superhead feels he is fair game. This woman is a disgrace to womanhood and should be shunned in every way possible.

  8. Just Being Honest

You know what, I can’t stand all of you pretentious black women (Yes I am black/African American Woman as well)who feel like you can just down a female for handling her business the best way she knows how…Are you mad because she is making more paper than you will ever see…Why is it all on her??? Unless she is comitting serious liebel and slander, the men she speaks of in her book(s)are just as (if not more) foul/wrong/hoeish as she is, but who takes all the heat??? I have to agree with “Rachel” and “Something sexy in DC”… Let that woman do her thing, because in the end only GOD can judge her… And speaking of God, have any of you ever seen that play “He Say, She Say, but what does God Say?” My favorite part in the play was when the new younger minister of the church brought in the “villan” of the play who was a drug dealer and pimp, and his girlfriend, and another local thug to worship, and the congregation turned their noses up at them and didn’t even want them in the house of the Lord with them, and the Pastor said, “See, this is why people don’t want to come to church!!” When I say I was on my feet clapping!!! Please black people, can we stop being so judgemental of each other???Thanks!

  9. Handling her business? That’s what you call a woman who rose to fame with *** all over her lips? Karrine brought hell down on herself. She’s the one who showed up on video sets naked to get the upper hand and yet she wonders why she was pimped and treated like a ****.This woman’s book was in the hands of millions of young Black women and you best believe they weren’t reading it to be uplifted.Karrine’s ultimate message is that being a **** is profitable and victomhood sells. She is no victim though. She was a willing participant in her pain and she needs to own it.And for me the fact that she is now headed for Playboy is just more proof of what a ***** she is.Even with a best selling book she still can’t keep her clothes on and be a businesswoman.Ultimately Superhead is just a woman whose only talent lies in using her body. She is nothing and no one speacial. She is a disgusting woman who shouldn’t have been posted here.

  10. I THINK KARRINE IS LIVING AND LEARNING AND SHE’S GETTING PAID AT THE SAME TIME !!!!I SAY QUIT HATING YOU CAN’T KNOCK HER HUSTLE!!!I DON’T THINK SHE IS SAYING SHE IS A VICTIM,,SHE IS SAYING SHE IS A SURVIVOR!!!:stop:

  11. Since when is it ok to do absolutely anything for money? If you bring these things on yourself…then how can you be the victim? In my opinion she’s just a *** receptacle. A ***** on a mission. You asked 4 it and you got it *****. You women praise her but would you let your daughters read her little “How 2 be a **** manual” What a disgrace to black women. (All women)
