Teen idol Keke Palmer is sticking with Nickelodeon. The actress and singer’s live-action comedy series, “True Jackson, VP” has been picked up by the channel for a second season. According to a station representative, the network has committed to 20 more episodes of the series, in which Keke plays a 15 year old high school student tapped to head the teen division of a major fashion label. The premiere of True Jackson garnered the channel the largest audience ever for a series debut and is presently ranked as the #2 show for tweens on Saturday night.

Good for her, she is a talented actress. My daughter loves True Jackson VP. She is one of the few black actors remaning on nick and disney since Raven, Corey, and Just Jordan are now gone.

Speaking of tween shows does anyone remember that show about a young latina who wanted to sing? I loved it but it got canceled and she ended up in Freaky Friday w/ Lindsay Lohan as 1 of her friends in the band. what’s her name?
My grandkids love True Jackson. I love the way she carries herself and you never see her on the red carpet wearing clothes that are inappropriate for her. Great image for her younger audience. I wish her the best.

lol. i remember that song and the show. was my jam….didn’t know why it got cancelled. that was like the last year nickelodeon acted like they knew that shows don’t have to be corny to get ratings. lol. :lol2:
My niece loves that show and she makes me watch it with her all the time. I will never admit this to her but it really is a cute show and I enjoy watching it with her.

DUDE! I LOVE KEKE PALMER. I first noticed her spunk and charisma on her movie “Akeela and the Bee”. She kept going and evven sung a single for the movie (which was amazing, she has true talent) and she kept going with her Disney made for TV movie “JUMP IN” wit Corbin Blue, and now this show! I try to watch it every time it comes on and i love it! There is a huge element of comedy and she adds some black flava to Nickeloden which is a mostly white dominated TV station, i love her and what she brings to her show.. on every episode her fashion is ON POINT! i love her! and her lovve interest on the show is FINE! lolz.. snaps for KEKE! :brownsista:
