Kelly Rowland At The Brit Awards

Check out Kelly Rowland above walking the red carpet at tonight’s Brit Awards. Kelly is only scheduled to be a presenter at tonight’s festivities, even though her single “work” is currently a UK Top 10 hit. Unlike the US, the UK has been very supportive of Kelly’s new CD, Miss Kelly and rightfully so- it is a very solid CD. Kelly’s dress above is very cute and maybe some of the fashionistas here can remind me who this dress is by. It’s the same one Rihanna wore for her You Magazine photo shoot and it definitely looks best on a tall slender frame. Kelly wears it very well.

I agree that dress is not forgiving on a “thick” girl. It is too full and poofy around the waist. Kelly does look like a million bucks in it but I wish she have worn heels that were more open and strappy. :brownsista:

Who says Kelly wasn’t invited and simply didn’t go? Damn near any artist past or present can get in to that show. It’s not like Solange performed. She just walked her dull, stale behind on stage, said a few words, and left.

Kelly is simply adorable. But, that dress and that watch is just not happening. I mean how many roosters had to die?! I don’t think Bey is the reason people don’t support Kelly. Kelly’s music is lame and no one really knows who she is. She isn’t someone that you can put a finger on. Like Bey is a young Tina Turner, AKeys is a young Roberta Flack, JHud is a young Aretha, Fantasia is a young Patti LaBelle, etc… WHo is Kelly besides Bey’s best PR rep?

It’s obvious that Great Britain loves Kelly, because she has more of a success over there. So, she needs to just branch completely over to the European and even the other markets. Her personality seem to fit more with their aura, anyway.
