I agree that dress is not forgiving on a “thick” girl. It is too full and poofy around the waist. Kelly does look like a million bucks in it but I wish she have worn heels that were more open and strappy. :brownsista:

Who says Kelly wasn’t invited and simply didn’t go? Damn near any artist past or present can get in to that show. It’s not like Solange performed. She just walked her dull, stale behind on stage, said a few words, and left.
She looks really pretty in that dress. I would’ve chosen different shoes, but she pulls it off and I agree that the wrong body shape would ruin that dress. All in all, good for her though! But Kelly, match the nails! Why aren’t her nails painted?

Kelly is simply adorable. But, that dress and that watch is just not happening. I mean how many roosters had to die?! She is elegant and beautiful enough to wear something a bit more sophisticated and streamlined. Does the DC camp know that less is more is actually a good thing? Kelly’s skin looks like carmalized milk chocolate,its so pretty and flawless! Love her and the fun flirty dresses she’s wearing. She’s so cute and talented and humble, I just wish she would get more credit and recognition than she does cause she deserves it!
I saw Seat Filler the other day and I thought Kelly was simply delightful. She could be a wonderful actress. She has this sensational beauty that demands your attention whether its her smooth skin, nice figure, or cute face. Sadly Hollywood isnt opening the doors for real actresses let alone has been singer. Too bad black entertainers rarely get the 2nd chance to reincarnation. I think that dress was more appropriate for Rihanna’s magazine cover vs. the red carpet. It’s a bit costumy. It seems like Rihanna is always rockin everything first. That’s the sign of a true fashionista! :thumbsup:

It’s obvious that Great Britain loves Kelly, because she has more of a success over there. So, she needs to just branch completely over to the European and even the other markets. Her personality seem to fit more with their aura, anyway.
