I have to give major props to Kelly Rowland and her label. Despite the lukewarm response to all the singles Kelly has released from her upcoming third solo album, the label keeps making videos and trying to push the music. Honestly, the rest is up to radio and the public. They are either going to support Kelly or not.
Check out the singer’s latest video for her single “Forever and a Day.” This new video is being released just days after Kelly released the video for “Rose Colored Glasses.”
Well, just because the US is giving her lukewarm responses (and that’s being nice, we don’t even play her music on urban nor top 100 radio- OUCH!) the UK market is way different and I’m sure, like before, she’s gearing up for another AMAZING UK release.
Can we all just be honest and admit that none of Kelly’s songs have been even remotely good.
I like the song and think she looks gorgeous in the video. I don’t even listen to too much of her music though. Although I always thought she had the best voice out of DC3. But, there’s nothing dominating about Kelly though. Over Seas, a lot of artists have much more success because their music is more acceptable versus in the US. The US is mostly stuck on Hip Hop and R&B. The techno club songs barely make it. I wish her much success regardless where she gets it. She deserves it.
Solid. I wish she would’ve gotten up off the stoop and done a dance routine, fun and lively. This is a good jam for the club. Oh wait, there’s a little routine there. Don’t like the wardrobe outfits. Cute.
Not feeling this song. It feels like a song for a soap commercial not a radio or club hit. The video is nice but would have been great at the brink of summer not fall. Still, I salute Kelly on her journey to independence! I wish her well. I love her other songs! I will plan to check out the cd when it drops.
aww Kelly looks so beautiful and happy in the video. that’s how I want see ourselves on the screen. I totally love rose colored glasses. this one i think has to grow on me. I’ll def. be lookin out for the album!

I actually like this song and video, more than others. It’s the euro-dance music sound that isn’t resonating with US fans, I believe. But, I’m sure she’ll do well in the UK and other parts of europe and asia. This isn’t our typical sound. But, this sound is big overseas…what I like is to see her being more and more confident with each offering…whether in her photos or videos…she’s acting like a solo singer and not the backup…she seems very happy…the music labels are going to have to keep putting out music and videos and tap into what markets respond and link her celebrity to other revenue streams that’s beneficial for both artist and label…Kelly looks beautiful and sounds great!!!
This song is amazing. This song DOES have hit potential in the US. Yes, it is a euro-dance track, but we all know that US radio loves SINGERS and kelly belted it out amazingly. With the right promotion this song could blow-up. This is the ONLY single that I have said that about for Kelly. This as a lead single, and Commander as a third single could have rejuvenated her career in the US. At least now this song can save the album! Video is only good. It could have been better. At least she’s not shattering fake glass!
I noticed the video says Universal Music France. It seems as though she is promoting in Europe and things are just trickling down in to the US. Which will NOT work if she wants US success.
Everybody raves about Ciara’s body, but Miss. Kelly physique is just as if not better. As far as the video and music not a big fan. I also agree, to me she did have the best voice coming out of DC. I would’ve thought she would go in the Monica or Brandy music direction.
Love it Ms. Kelly. Love the dance track and the fact that she is an entertainer with a GLOBAL perspective – the US is great, but it ain’t everything
