Singer Kelly Rowland had her headline performance at the Great American Gay Day 2008 rudely interrupted when she narrowly missed getting hit in the face by a fan’s hat. Kelly was halfway through her performance at the California event when a devoted fan threw his white hat on the stage- almost hitting the singer in the face. Kelly’s band quickly came to stop as she demanded the hat thrower reveal himself. After being pointed out by the crowd the over excited fan apparently apologized, leading Kelly to return his hat, apologize to her fans, and then get right back into her performance.
Ah man! I though Kelly was about to bring the heat but she fell back hard. Did the person apologize? Seems like Kelly apologized first. She is so weak. But I guess all in all she had to remain a lady and I respect that.
Much love and respect to Kelly. I’m glad she didn’t act a ghetto d@mn fool like other celebrities. Kelly is not weak at all. She knows how to carry herself like a lady, rather than a loud A$$ GHETTO QUEEN.
I think she dealt with the situation very sophisticatedly and professionally. Glad to see her doing shows in the US again.
Well the fan apologized & apparently did not mean to hit her on purpose so what really would be the point of her going off at the fan. She acted accordingly.

Well I agree with Raliyah, D and twa. Kelly handled the situation beautifully. There was no need to get all loud and go off. The fan obviously was very enthusiastic and didn`t mean any harm. It`s knowing when to choose your fights and this was not one of those times. Like Kenny Rogers said, “You gotta know when to hold them and when to fold them”. She handled the situation like a lady; much luv to Kelly.

I agree with the majority. She did handle that situation pretty well. But I’m not surprised nor shocked at her reaction because she’s always been a pretty mild-mannered woman. Next topic! LOL
Yes Kelly has been doing a ton of promo aimed at the gay audience which is a very powerful audience. Kelly knows if she can get in good with the queens her record sales will rise. The gay audience has always been catered to by people like Madonna, Janet Jackson, Cher, Patti Labelle and many others.
Poor Kelly! She actually should have been glad that anyone is interested in her marginal talent… Nobody is hating on Kelly except the Knowles and I would say she prefers that treatment. Ihear Beyonce is preggers ,if that is ture than Kelly needs to go’head and apply for that nanny position, she has no career. She’s a cute girl though.
