Singer Kelly Rowland is the new face of Seagram’s Escapes. Via press release, beginning in early 2016, Miss Kelly will introduce her own signature line of flavors, as well as appear in television, radio and print ads for the brand. Kelly will also be lending her musical talents to the campaign, recording a new song that will be featured across all promotional platforms.
“I’m so excited to be teaming up with Seagram’s Escapes,” Kelly told fans via her Facebook page. “The wide variety of flavors are a reflection of my lifestyle- refreshing, fun, creative, varied, inspired and, of course, colorful.”
Kelly is expected to unveil new music in the coming months, as well as launch a solo tour next year. Seagram’s Escapes is expected to play a huge role in the promotion of Kelly’s upcoming album. They’ll be co-sponsoring her tour and will be featured prominently in the videos via product placement.
Thanks to label cutbacks, more and more artists are teaming up with corporations to help finance their music. Beyonce teamed up with Pepsi, Ciara recently teamed up with Topshop and list goes on.
Kelly can presently be seen appearing in a multi-episode arc on Fox’s hit drama Empire, and is expected to launch a talent competition on BET in the spring of 2016.
