Kelly Rowland has announced a new lead single from her upcoming album. The 30 year old singer, who has seen her latest CD be delayed by almost a year, says “Motivation” will now be the official first single from her still untitled project. Kelly revealed news of her new single at a recent Roberto Cavalli fashion show, adding that the song will have a dance mash-up type of feel. Kelly’s previously released singles, “Commander,” “Rose Colored Glasses” and “Forever and a Day,” were all great tracks, but failed to spark radio interest, thus forcing the singer’s label to delay her album multiple times. And though a name and release date for the project still hasn’t been chosen. Kelly says the album should be out by early summer.

I cant wait to hear it. And i heard from another site that her album was going to be called Motivation also. ANd i think Beyonce’s album is coming out this summer too.
I wish Kelly the best!!! But, this industry is sooooo iffy! If Kanye only sold a million or so thus far…wow…Kelly should do a reality tv show…it helped Fantasia and Monica…Brandy is re-emerging…there has to be some fan-atic interest, i.e. Nicki Minaj, Drake, Jay-z, Eminem…Mary J. Blige and Alicia Keys…the established artists were already heavy-hitters…with legions of fans…so Kelly has to bring fans into her life to get to know this new Kelly! If Beyonce comes out at the same time, she definitely need a reality tv show, hers would be good and different because she spends so much time overseas…a good acting role wouldn’t hurt either!
I will always give kelly a chance, She is a talented girl , and i soon as she finds her self esteem, it’s a done deal.

Kelly seems like A really nice person..but as far as her music goes..I just don’t know. Maybe it is a self esteem thing. I wish her the best.
Beyonce please don’t do that. Let the girl live. After all, she is the one that made Destiny’s Child sound good.
Oh please! Kelly has had more than enough time to release her album. It was supposed to come out last year. What happened? It’s not Beyonce’s fault none of her singles caught on. Beyonce should not have to push her album back for Kelly. If people actually cared about Kelly Rowland, they would support her by actually buying her singles and albums instead of just talking about it.
Kelly I will be praying for your success. B could stand back and let Kelly shine,,,after all she has made millions and will continue to make millions. I know this is business, but Kelly has been struggling and could use some help and encouragement.
