Wow ! Some people have way too much time on their hands. Keri Hilson took her Twitter account last night to clear her name in the wake of a fake screenshot of her calling Beyonce stans “crazy” started making its way across the net. The obviously faked photo appears to show Keri thanking her fans for having her back in spite of the many Twitter attacks she endures from what she termed “crazy Bey stans.” I am one of Keri’s almost 500,000 followers and I get notices of tweets from everyone I follow and this supposed tweet from Keri never happened. Even deleted tweets show up and again- this tweet is nowhere to be found. On top of that, no one appears to have re-tweeted it. I think it is safe to say that had Keri really tweeted this message it would have been re-tweeted hundreds- even thousands of times. Unfortunately, very few ppl looked for the truth and instead ran with fake image and thus forced Keri to take to Twitter to clear her name once someone tweeted the image to her.

I think many of these stars should delete their account w/ Twitter altoghter. It only makes matters worse for them and it makes it even a harder job for PR. Your fans don’t have to know every move you make. Its hard enough that you don’t get any privacy, even in your private thoughts.
This is a Black folks thing 100%. I haven’t heard of this type of foolishness with any white celebrity yet. Black folks is just always hard at work trying to destroy one another.
I do agree with you though SKY. It seems best to have a label run Twiiter page rather than a personal one which can be manipulated and or hacked into.
Rihanna’s Twiiter page is a great example. Thos tweets are by the label not the artist herself and in no way contains personal information or daily going-ons.
BeYAWNsay stans ARE CRAZY and DELUSIONAL. What’s wrong with the truth? Keri already said she’s fading and needs to have some babies, so why stop speaking the gospel now?

Beyonce just had the best year of her career and Keri just had a stellar year as well and landed a best new artist nomination at the Grammys. Leave these women alone and let them live out their dreams while you losers sit around wasting your lives away hating online.
Hmmm…these celebs create these social sites to be more accessible to their public and what do we do? We exploit them and make them spend the time they could be answering questions about their work denouncing rumors. SMDH! I wouldn’t put up anything beyond when the cd is coming out and where I’ll be performing. Some people just don’t have a clue.
Its their fault. celebs and their careers are not salient. its not like they are adding anything beneficial to our lives…so putting out the negativity, they asked for it. why do you want people to know what you are doing when you are doing it per say. everybody should mind their own business. but they are all a joke anyway. its America that allows it. that is why this happens all the time. you will never see any socially and economically influential figure partake in this nonsense, because they dont have time. they are busy in the “real world”. i have decided that all theses celebs deserve whatever they get. including the negative. they do not add anything to our live. they are a mere distraction…

Twitter (and the innanetz) are both a good and a bad thing for ALL things, not just gossip or connecting with fans and people around the world or attaining knowledge, having blogs, etc. There’s both good and bad.
I do agree that some ’stars’ shouldn’t have one. While Twitter is a great tool for promotion, look what it did to Miley Cyrus and Chris Brown and others who ultimately deleted theirs. On the other hand you have folks like John Mayer and Solange who are crazy addicted to it. LOL.
I just know that there’s room for all our songstresses, whether we like them, stan for them, etc. Keri’s success has proven that. I wish them ALL well.
I personally think Twitter, MySpace etc. are stupid. The only good thing I have ever heard anyone say about it is that they found some old classmates or old friends, relatives or whatever.
Then I hear people say somebody wrote them a nasty note, tweet, whatever. Or people get caught cheating on that mess.
I personally don’t want anyone following my life like that. Seeing pics of me, my children, my house, my new car, who I’m dating now, updating people on my day period. I like to keep somethings about myself private.
I’ve always been this way, so I have a drama-free life.
whether there was twitter or not something would have or will come out about Keri sayin something about somebody or another celeb sayin something. Some of what is maybe truth & some may not. There was a twitter, myspace,& etc years ago & rumors still floated… so why would 1 think that they wouldn’t circulate now. The only thing is that the lies or truth circulate faster. The good thing, in a sense, is that Keri was able to get on HER twitter & explain the things that were said were false. It came directly from her & not a magazine or blogger.

Ciely you are so right. Rockon you’re just a ******* hater. Beyonce is the best. I like Keri, but she’s nothing special. Her voice isn’t that great, moves are nothing to be remembered and her words aren’t that deep. The best song she wrote(co-wrote) was love in this club 2. She wrote it for herself, but Usher wanted it to be a King and King thing. Not sure if he’s the King but Beyonce is definately the queen so fall your hating *** back.
