Keyshia Cole Video: Heaven Sent

Geffen Records platinum-selling songwriter and recording star/BET Reality TV icon Keyshia Cole is currently in the studio recording her third (3rd) CD which is slated for release Christmas 2008. On this untitled release, Keyshia has already started work with top producers including Polow Da Don, Nephew and Scott Storch to name a few. The third disc will follow two highly popular platinum-selling CD’s: 2005’s The Way It Is and 2007’s Just Like You.

In addition, within the past two weeks Keyshia has completed the shooting of three back to back videos with the first being for her 4th single, “Heaven Sent,” from her chart-topping sophomore CD Just Like You. “Heaven Sent” was shot in Hawaii by popular lensman Benny Boom and premiered just minutes ago on Yahoo.

    The video is aight. Her vids never move me but I do like the majority of her songs, especially the slow jams. She is moving major units right now and doing really well so I am happy for her.

    WELL DONE Keyshia. The vid as well as the song is very moving. The opening shot of the sunset is absolutely beautiful. The entire vid has a serene feel to it and her vocals only enhances the visual effects. Now this is what I call REAL music; Keyshia may be young but she is definitely Ol` Skool. She would have fit right in with the 70`s & 80`s with no problem. This girl sings her heart out; no gimmicks, no booty shaking or gyrating, just good raw singing. Great photography as well as the colors in the vid. Again, a job well done…

    i like the song and the vid. but it wouldn’t been better is she had a love intrest in the vid.

    Pretty Video. Boring, but pretty nonetheless. I like Keyshia, she has the down-to-earth feel and she’s doesn’t sell her soul for the glamour and gold. You mean you don’t have to oil up and lay out in a beach video? You don’t have to shake your ***? Your song can be the main focus? I think Keyshia has proven it can be done. Thankfully.

    IF ANYONE LISTENS TO THE LYRICS THEY WILL KNOW THAT SHE DOESN’T HAVE A LOVE INTEREST IN THE VID BECAUSE THATS WHAT SHE’S SINGING ABOUT (SENT FROM HEAVEN).     I agree she is totally under rated she sings as if she has been thorough it or at least really understands the feeling…hopefully she will continue to grow as her fans do at least we can say that we may well be hearing her some years from now…unlike some who i wish would “take a bow” sooner rather than later lolx

    I like Keisha Cole, she does seem real down-to-earth. I like the way she took her family under her wings on her show “How it is”. That’s love there!!!

    Really nice song and video. She really looks pretty in this one. Reminds me of the “Shoulda Let You Go” video, but much more classy. Who ever her stylist was for this video really did their thang! I just want those dresses she was wearing!
