Keyshia Cole Visits SiriusXM + Reveals Album Title
While visiting SiriusXM earlier this week, singer Keyshia Cole dropped by Sway in the Morning to discuss her upcoming album, reveal its title and even shoot down a couple of rumors. The 34-year old Oakland native even delved into her personal life a bit, disclosing how she learned boxing trainer Virgil Hunter was her father, as well as what their relationship is like today.
According to Keyshia, her upcoming seventh studio album was originally titled It is What it Is. However, after seeing the number 1111 over and over, Keyshia said she decided to change the name to 11:11 Reset. “For the past year, I’ve been seeing 1111 constantly and to my understanding, you’re aligned spiritually with your destiny and everything that is meant to be in your life is happening at the right time. The timing is right. Everything is right. Reset is cohesive with that.”
And while not featured in the video above, Keyshia also reportedly shot down the recent rumor of her and ex-husband Daniel Gibson appearing on the upcoming season of Love & Hip-Hop Hollywood. Back in 2013 Keyshia said she’s never return to reality television, thanks in part to being financially stiffed by BET for the first and only season of Keyshia & Daniel: Family First.
