Keyshia & Kim Take Over 106 & Park

Keyshia Cole and Lil Kim took over 106 & Park today in support of Keyshia’s new album, Just Like You, which hits record store shelves tomorrow.Keyshia’s CD will be competing against Jill Scott’s The Real Thing, Will.I.Am’s Songs About Girls, and Jagged Edge’s Baby Making Project. The Foo Fighters are also in the running and seeing as how they are a rock band, they could easily snatch the number one spot from any of the artist’s listed above. Jill and JE won’t be #1, so that leaves Keyshia and Will to fight off the Foo Fighters. I have no idea who will take pole position but I am obviously hoping either Jill or Keyshia pulls it off.

You know what, originally I heard they were all there ( I didn’t watch it) but when I checked around I didn’t see her name mentioned and there are no pics of her. So basically I didn’t know Missy was there, but will update later when I get pics and the video performance.

Does anyone know if the Foo Fighters have a hit record out at the moment? If they do I think they will take it. Will.I.Am may have a shot at the #1 position as well depending how his first single, which I also haven’t heard.

I checked the charts and the Foo Fighters currently have the #1Modern Rock song. Of course Keyshia has a #1 hit and I haven’t heard one bad thing about her second effort. I’m planning to buy both Jill and Keyshia. I’m not sure about will i am I think it’ll go Foo Fighters, Keyshia, Will I Am.

There was an intersting article out about Will.I.Am saying that black radio stations won’t play the Black Eye Peas’ music and he didn’t get love from the BET awards. I never noticed if Black stations played his music.
I love Missy and I know Lil’ Kim can be a mess but I love her too.

I know the “black” stations in atl don’t play his music. I wouldn’t know that he had a CD coming out if it weren’t for the internet. For that matter I listen to the pop station from time to time and I haven’t heard him on there either.
