LeToya Luckett Lands Role in Biggie/Tupac Crime Drama
With her stint on Rosewood set to come to an end this season, actress/singer LeToya Luckett has already booked herself another gig. According to Variety, Toya will be appearing alongside fellow R&B singer Luke James in the upcoming USA series Unsolved: The Murders of Biggie and Tupac Shakur. The crime drama will reportedly chronicle the police investigation into the murders of the two rap stars as seen through the eyes of former LAPD detective Greg Kading (Josh Duhamel).
LeToya will play Sharitha Golden, then-estranged wife of Death Row CEO Suge Knight. Previous casting announcements include James as Sean ‘Puffy’ Combs, Aisha Hinds as Voletta Wallace, Marcc Rose as Tupac Shakur and Wavyy Jonez as Biggie.
In addition to her USA role, LeToya will also be appearing in the upcoming season of OWN’s latest hit drama Greenleaf. She’s also prepping for the release of the second installment of her three-part Back 2 Life video series.
