“I am so pleased to be working with television legend Oprah Winfrey and to be a part of the OWN family,” Jackson said. “This will be one of the most exciting adventures of my life.”
OWN co-president Sheri Salata said the show has been in development for months and did not just come about because of the recent Jackson family drama involving Michael’s will.
“Life with La Toya” will reportedly chronicle the singer’s life as she, at 56, looks for romance and contemplates starting her own family.
So will any other Jackson family members be joining “Life with La Toya?” Sheri Salata said that was strictly up to the family, and that for now the show will simply focus on La Toya as she looks to build her OWN personal and professional empire.
