Lisa Raye McCoy Misick celebrated her birthday last night by using the occasion to raise funds for the citizens of Turks & Caicos island who were hit hard by Hurricane Ike. The embattled First Lady, who hasn’t set foot on the island since a physical altercation with her husband landed her in the news, asked those who attended her bash to donate money to the cause in lieu personal gifts. Lisa Raye turned 41 and Brown Sistas on hand helping the sista celebrate included model Kim Porter, actress Paula Jai Parker, DJ Spinderella and many others.

That’s a good thing that she’s doing but to me it seems like she’s trying to hold on to her first lady position.
She looks good. Very good. I’m glad she is staying active with helping the people of the island, despite being there. She is their first lady and she should act accordingly until she no longer has the position or title.
And Kim Porter always looks good. Always.
She looks good and so does everyone else. Good for her to want to help, hopefully she is doing it out of the kindness of her heart and not for sympathy points. I really like the short hair on her.

LisaRaye sure makes 41 yrs old look real good. All the women in their 40’s {Halle Berry, Janet Jackson, Stacy Dash, Toni Braxton along w/ LisaRaye} have me excited about reaching that age (though I have like…12 yrs ’til). It’s still great to know I can still look good & fly then.

Her name is “Jamie Foxworth” & yes she is the “Judy Winslow” from Family Matters. But she most recently resurfaced On the VH1 show called Rehab w/ Dr. Drew. It was more than likely a typo LOL :- ) .
As for Lisa.. she looks great & despite the drama that she is in involving the island… I commend her for doing a very charitable thing… kudos to Lisa :- ) .
