Maria Borges Named Brand Ambassador for L’Oréal Paris
Model Maria Borges is L’Oréal Paris’ newest Brand Ambassador. The 24-year old Angolan beauty announced the news earlier this week via her Facebook page, writing “This means the world to me. I believe in the beauty of diversity and the empowering message that a girl who started from the bottom can become an international symbol of beauty and grace. I can’t thank L’Oréal enough for the opportunity. We are all truly worth it.”
As Brand Ambassador and one of the company’s most high-profile Lorealistas, Maria will appear in both commercial and print ads for the company, as well as do charity work and appear at functions to represent L’Oréal Paris’ various brands.
In addition to her work with L’Oréal, Maria has also been a staple on runways, having previously graced the catwalk for Ralph Lauren, Badgley Mischka and Victoria Secret, where she apparently made some sort of history for being the first black model allowed to rock her own natural hair.
