Mary J. Blige “Growing Pains” CD Cover With the release of Mary J. Blige’s Growing Pains CD right around the corner, you knew it would only be a matter of time before we all got a glimpse of the cover. To your right is the understated, yet elegant pic that was chosen to grace Mary’s new opus. The pic is beautiful. The hairstyle is very Rihanna-ish. The jewelry and make-up are understated. I’m not overwhelmed by it or very impressed, but you all know how hard I am to please when it comes to photo shoots. Still, Mary does look regal, which is probably the look the Queen Of Hip Hop & Soul was aiming for.

    Her outfit on the cover is speaking plain Jane, but cool and relaxed at the same time. Her hair and make-up is beautiful though. She is one of the few in hollywood and in the music industry that can wear blond and look sharp.

    Halloween is my least favorite holiday.

    I agree with Sheshaute. Mary J has always been versatile with her style every since she came out way back in the early 90’s. She has worn the bob hair style before Rihanna even hit the scene.

    Why does every female singer that has been around for ten years or more or even the newbie’s have to be compared to either Beyonce or Rihanna. Like these two have originated anything to the business. Give me a break.

    Mary don’t have to jack not a thing from Rhianna or any of these other artist. She has stood the test of time and proven to be a superstart. Without disrespecting her self publicily. Without having to do soft porn videos and putting her business all over the cameras.

    Elegance is just simplicity in its highest form. She is a beautiful lady and she does not have to over do it to prove it. Her beauty and strenght comes from within. Something these younger people have not learned yet.

    I think Mary looks classy and beautiful. It’s like when she first came out back in the day, the early 90’s. Almost everything is going back to the old days. See the restaurants mostly now and days only except cash, no check or credit cards… Cash is coming back people, lol. Anway, Mary has wore this style before and done it right. She do not have to copy anyone, she is Mary J. Come on!!! :bag: She started things. RiRi, is only 19 she has to pave her way and mostly likely it will be F###on for tracks. I hear that Umbrella was suppose to be Mary’s song, but RiRi begged so bad for the song that they handed it over or maybe got laid for it. Mary always has this thing about her, I think it’s called “Being Real and Not Tainting the Music, like most artist out here does. I know Mary enjoy the money and the fame sometimes, but I think she enjoy much more and she knows our Father, Jesus Christ has brought her though alot of trials and tribulations.
