Mary J. Hooks Up With ‘Mr. Wrong’

With her tenth solo album ‘My Life… The Journey Continues (Act 1), less than a month away from release and its lead-off single ‘25/8’ stalled on the charts, Mary J. Blige has decided to officially release the album’s second single ‘Mr. Wrong,’ which features rapper Drake.

The song was written and produced by Jim Jonsin and Rico Love, who recently disclosed to Billboard that the song was, in some ways, autobiographical.

According to Love, “It’s an extremely soulful song that expresses the true level of love that a woman can have for a man who simply is no good for her,” he said. “I wrote it because in many ways I am Mr. Wrong.”

Give the track a listen below and let us know what you think.

  1. Mary just needs to stop putting out cds…she should retire and occasionally do concerts (i.e. essence festival) and call it a day because at this point it all sounds the same

  2. This is Mary I love this song is a straight smash Mary and Drake killed this. All the people talking shit please be around when her first week sales smash haters

  3. @J why she have to retire. Her music is what we call R & B. What left of it anyway. Go mary i be supporting it.
