Mary J. Blige Unveils New Holiday Video

Singer Mary J. Blige has unveiled the latest visual offering from her “A Mary Christmas” seasonal CD.

“My Favorite Things” is the second track to be released from the album, which thanks to a slew of live performances by Mary, experienced a near 90% increase in sales last week. The album presently sits at #1 on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop albums chart- dethroning Justin Timberlake’s “20/20” Experience, which had previously held the #1 spot for six weeks.

  1. Thanks for this news, I play her X-mas CD everyday, it’s awesome! I’m glad people are buying it. It was a wish come true for me, I always hope someone would flesh out her true vocal ability. Andre Harrell and Puffy kinda exploited her, but it is what gave her a sound that makes her the Queen of Hip Hop/Soul & R&B and a music icon that music historians and documentary film-makers accredit her with. But, she grew as an artist with this one, after a year plagued with bad press, Mary is a survivor! I saw her with Jennifer Nettles and looked and sounded great! I love the video too!

A Mary Christmas is one of 2013’s absolute best!

  2. Nice song & video, good job MJB.

^^^I think it’s clear she had vocal training, which there’s NOTHING wrong with. Which I wanted here to have it, so she knows how to use her instrument more efficiently instead of damaging it.
