Singer Mary J. Blige is about to give the performance of her life… literally. The 40-year old Queen of Hip-Hop Soul will celebrate the release of her upcoming ‘My Life II… The Journey Continues (Act 1),’ album by performing a live webcast on November 17th at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, California.
The internet broadcast will be directed by choreographer Adam Shankman and will air exclusively via Mary’s VEVO page at 11pm. EST.
According to the singer, the night’s performance will feature mostly songs from her new album, but will also pay homage to its predecessor, the chart topping 1994 classic ‘My Life.’
In an interview with the NY Times blog, Mary said fans will have to tune in to see if any of the album’s guest stars make an appearance.
‘My Life II’ features cameos from Nas, Busta Rhymes, Drake, Beyonce and even Mary’s rap persona Brook Lynn.
