Meagan Good Joins “Code Black” for an Extended Arc

Minority Report is officially dead y’all. Not only did Fox execs not announce its renewal at last week’s winter TCA event, but now comes news that one its stars, actress Meagan Good, has signed on to appear in another show. Via the Hollywood Reporter, Meagan will be joining the CBS medical drama Code Black for an extended arc expected to last for the remainder of the season.

Meagan will play Dr. Grace Adams, an attending physician who returns to Angels Memorial Hospital after a year of humanitarian work overseas. Meagan’s character is expected to shake things up via a romance with another doctor.

And just who might that doctor be? Well, actor Boris Kodjoe is also joining the cast, and so I put my money on him and Meagan’s character quickly becoming a thing.

Boris will play Dr. Will Campbell, whose ego is matched only by his skill. Both characters are expected to make their appearance sometime next month.

  1. Meagan stay employed I know that. I hope she gets another chance to lead a show. I’m liking her more and more as time goes on. She’s really grown through the years.

  2. FOX. The network (where black female leads in television series) go to die. Ugh. I tried “Code Black” and I’m not a fan, but congratulations to the beautiful Meagan Good.
