Meagan Good Signs on for Law & Order Episode

Actress Meagan Good (Act Like a Man) and Chad Coleman (Tyrese from The Walking Dead) have been tapped to star in another one of “Law & Order: SVU’s” ripped from the headlines- celebrity edition episodes.

Chad will play an ex-sports star who is accused of assaulting his wife. The episode, entitled “Spousal Privilege,” is set to air November 19th and is obviously based on the Ray Rice incident, in which the former Baltimore Raven star was caught on an elevator video punching his then fiancé (Janay Palmer) and knocking her unconscious.

‘SVU’ executive producer Warren Leight released a statement saying: “Domestic violence, with a push from Mariska Hargitay’s NO MORE campaign (, has recently sparked a long-needed national dialogue. ‘Spousal Privilege’ explores the personal and legal complexities of this intractable problem. We are thrilled that Chad and Meagan are joining us to take on this challenging episode.”

“Law & Order: SVU” airs Wednesday nights at 9/8c on NBC.
