Meagan Good to Reprise ‘Californication’ Role

MEAGAN GOOD WILL REPRISE CALIFORNICATION ROLE

Meagan Good Brings Back ‘Californication’ Kali

Meagan Good is set to reprise her Californication character in the upcoming Showtime comedy White Famous. The former Minority Report star has reportedly been tapped to appear in at least two episodes of the series, which is produced by Jamie Foxx and stars Jacob Ming-Trent and Saturday Night Live alum Jay Pharoah.

For those of you out of the loop, for seven episodes Meagan played Kali, a rising pop star on season five of Californication. White Famous will reunite the 35-year old actress with both Pharoah, who appeared alongside her in season five, and Tom Kapinos, who helmed both series for Showtime.

Set to premiere this fall, White Famous is based on Jamie Foxx’s experiences coming up in Hollywood. The show chronicles a talented young comedian (Pharoah) trying to navigate the treacherous world of show business, while maintaining his credibility as he begins to cross over toward becoming “white famous.”

And in addition to White Famous, Meagan is also set to appear in the Hulu production of Foxy Brown, as well as Motivated Seller and A Boy. A Girl. A Dream: Love on Election Night.
