Michelle & Barack Cover US Weekly
The hotness that is Michelle and Barack Obama will cover next week’s edition of US Weekly which hits the newsstands this Friday (June 20th). The magazine will feature a six page article on the couple’s love story as well as an album of previously unseen family photos. The cover headline reads “Michelle Obama: Why Barack Loves Her” and adds, “She shops at Target, loves “Sex and the City” and never misses the girl’s recitals. The untold romance between a down to earth mom and the man who calls her “my rock”. Barack’s obvious love of his wife is so inspiring and not something shown in the media very often. We see all types of love shown via the American media, but Black love, healthy Black love, is usually not one of them. We also see Black men loving all types of women, but again, rarely is the woman Black and so beautifully brown as Michelle- and that is why the conservative media is out to get her- them. This couple is powerful. Their image is powerful and shatters every myth and stereotype ever spread far and wide about us.

I love Michelle and Barack they embody strong black love, class and family values..Michelle is a wonderful role modle for young black woman..The republican party will continue to come after Michelle becasue they can’t find any legitiment dirt on Barack so they’ll attack the closest thing to him..I find it kind of funny that they are attacking Michelle when Cindy McCain is a former drug addict but you don’t see that making headlines..The Gop Republicans can’t stand the fact that Michelle is a educated black woman and she’s out spoken, she doesn’t play the traditional politican “sit down, be quiet and be pretty” wife role..When they stoop to the lowness of calling her Barack’s baby mama that obviously shows us what they think about us.
Just like the Rev. Wright scandal this attack on Michelle will get old and pass over..As long as Barack continues to run a clean campaign he’ll be fine..

As Ms. “Stef” has stated that Michelle Obama has recently come under attack by right wing radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh. Rush Limbaugh claims that he knows of a video that shows Michelle Obama using the word “whitey” in a speech she gave at a church in Chicago. It is needles to say that nobody, Nobody, NOBODY has seen that video yet! Would Rush Limbaugh go so far as to go out of his way to lie about Michelle Obama just to make her look bad? Of course he would; Rush Limbaugh is nothing but a pig! He’s a low-life, scum and he disgusts me to no end. Look, it’s time for some straight talk from Smooth Thug. If what I’m about to say offends, so be it. I feel that’s fair game ’cause Rush Limbaugh, and his stupid mouth, insults my intelligence. It’s like this y’all: Rush Limbaugh is nothing but a closet skin head and a neo-nazi in a suit. He, and the vast majority of white America, have come to the realization that they are no longer the majority… peoples of color are. And that scares the you-know-what of them. What he, and others of his ilk, are trying to do is solidify the old racial boundaries which defines America’s nationhood. And in so doing, they are not hoping to regain their dominance, no, what they are trying to do is form a new place for themselves. And that place includes the office of the presidency; they want that to remain in their hands.

And speaking of our favorite right wing racist Rush Limbaugh, I remember last year he had a song called “Barack The Magic Negro” on his show sung to the tune of “Puff The Magic Dragon” so he got a lot of nerves calling out Michelle out for using the term Whitey if she did in fact say that..They’ve called us much worst over the las 400 years..A lot of these attacks on Obama are nothing more than FEAR..Rush was even encouraging Republicans to vote in the primary on the democratic ticket for the so called weaker canidate but I guess it backfired on him.
SOME white people just kill me they’d rather let this country suffer under the leadership of a white man than let a black me lead us to the promise land..Martin Luther King was the best thing that ever happened to this country he was our 20th century Jesus and they crucified him all over again now here we are 40 years later same ole song..I remember back in the day when all the pictures of Jesus pertrayed him with blued eyes and blond hair, some still believe that today when it comes to leadership.
In another ironic twist Robert Kennedy stated in 1968 “I believe 40 years from now a Negro could be president”

One final point…
The first Afro-American to graduate from an American college was Alexander Twilight. In 1823, he graduated from Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont. After he graduated, he became a preacher, a school teacher, and a librarian. In 1836, Alexander twilight was elected to the Vermont State Assembly making him the first Afro-American to be elected to public office in America.

I share your anger and frustration with white Amerikka over Barack’s candiacy…A lot of white people are calling Michelle & Barack racist?..It’s funny how white folks critiize them for Rev. Wright’s comments while confirming everything that Rev. Wright said about Amerikka..Michelle stated “For the first time I’m proud of my country” and now all of sudden she’s characterized as some angry, unpatriotic black woman..Most whites still have that Ni**er stay in your place syndrome.
