Minority Report Gets Its Season Shortened

minority report season order cut to ten episodes After struggling in the ratings since its debut, it appears Fox is ready to cut ties with its freshman sci-fi drama Minority Report. According to Variety, the show’s thirteen episode season has now been cut to just ten.

Fox is reportedly adamant about keeping the show on Monday nights at nine and plan to air the the tenth episode as the show’s finale unless there is an uptick in the next seven episode’s ratings.

Minority Report stars Meagan Good and Stark Sands an is executive produced by Steven Spielberg. The show was expected to be a massive hit, but came outta the gate soft, garnering only 3.1 million viewers for its pilot episode. Every successive episode has continued to drop in viewership, with the most recent securing just over 2.1 million viewers.

If you plan to stick with Minority Report until the end, you should especially look out for the October 19 episode titled The Present. It’s very Vega-centric and moves her one step closer to finding out who killed her dad.

  1. Had they kept Sleepy Hollow on Monday nights I think it might have helped keep viewers. I’m so used to SH on Mondays. Fox knows how to kill their own shows, don’t they?
