Rihanna was not the only Brown Sista honored at last night’s Glamour Magazine “Women of the Year” gala. Poet Maya Angelou and tennis great Serena Williams were also celebrated. Models Tyra Banks and Iman were also on hand to help pass out awards and singer Estelle was the evening’s musical guest.

That dress Rhianna has on is absolutley gogeous. She is a pretty woman. Whatever you think of her talent or lack thereof she is a very gorgeous and sometimes classy looking woman.

Everyone looks lovely. Lol at Bee’s comment on Rihanna being ’sometimes classy looking woman’. I sometimes smh at some of the things she’s worn lately. Maybe that’s where she’s at but she’s too pretty for that mess. The two gowns she wore made her look stunning, even with the blonde which I think looks wrong on black women whatever your skin tone.

I agree with the earlier commenter who said blonde isnt a good look for black women no matter the shade. The only time I like it is on those super short ‘bald’ hair cut when the sista dyes her hair. To me it’s always a sista of a certain age and confidence that makes it look good.
