Mya put it down over the weekend while performing at the Dusk Nightclub in Atlantic City. The singer is gearing up for the release of her mixtape, as well as her stint as a contestant on this season’s “Dancing With The Stars”. What is she doing? She use to be a class act. You know when you have to change who you are to do something maybe that is just not for you.

Sad,But when you can’t sing, there’s not a whole lot you can do. This young girl has an acting talent if she would just pursue it. She can dance her *** off too. Not sure why she tries so hard to get THAT type of attention the way she does.

Why is everyone being so hard on her? Mya CAN sing she just has a light, airy voice; but she can do runs and vibratos and all that jazz and more importantly she can perform. She’s a dancer first, a singer second and an overall performer. There are other artists who came straight out the game with the “non-class act” routine. I can name a number of them on my fingers. Just because Mya puts on booty shorts with some zingy leg warmers she’s no longer a ‘class act’? If so what does that say about the Rihannas, the Beyonces, the Ameries, the Ciaras, etc. All these women artists are doing their sexy and this is just one performance from Mya that we’ve been privy to. Oh, forgot to say I wish her the best on DWTS and with any upcoming music. I have her first album and plan on buying Fear of Flying and that other one, Gemstone LOL I always forget the name. I heard it’s a good one. Anyway. Have a great Labor Day.

You’re right, she can act. i don’t get chicks like her, they get mad at men like Game and 50, but they are the ones that portray themselves that way.

Mya has so much talent as a singer and dancer {not so much acting, IMO} but I began disliking her when she started yapping her mouth in King mag about her sexcapades and then once word got out that she was an industry “bust down”… ewww!
I wish she’d carry herself better when it comes to performing. She doesn’t have to do all the rump shakin.
I know she’ll do very well on DWTS but I hope she gives up on the album making and maybe work on her acting and thriving on Broadway.
