Naomi Campbell Stars in Anohni’s ‘Drone Bomb Me’ Video

Naomi Cambell Cries it Out in New ‘Drone Bomb Me’ Video

Supermodel Naomi Campbell is front and center in the visual for Anohni’s new single Drone Bomb Me. According to Anohni, the song is written from the perspective of a nine-year old Afghanistan girl whose family has been killed by an errant drone.

The clip is directed by Nabil, while Givenchy’s Ricardo Tisci is billed as the art director.

For those of you who have never heard of Anohni, she is a transgender English artist, who formerly performed as Antony and the Johnsons. Anohni was up for a Best Original Song Oscar this year for her tune Manta Ray, but chose to skip the show when she was not invited to perform.

Her new album Hopelessness is due out May 6th.

  1. I think Naomi Campbell’s acting in this video was superb. I didn’t know she was that talented and hope she pursues for projects in acting. The song however was n’t that great in my opinion and if it wasn’t for the description of what the song is about and more background about the artist Anohni I would be very confused. I have to give kudos to Naomi Campbell for choosing to be apart of this project sense she runs the risk of seeming very masculine herself in this video.
