Models Chanel Iman and Naomi Campbell are both featured in the latest issue of V Magazine. The icon and icon in training both give good face for the magazine’s first ever swimsuit edition. Naomi landed the cover of one of 6 the magazine released and did so with bunny ears on. Channeling a bit of Marilyn Monroe I believe, the 90s icon is captured all decked out in full Playboy Bunny attire. And though Chanel did not land a cover for herself, the young model did get face time inside the magazine and gave insight on her future acting plans, what her tattoos mean and what model she most aspires to be like.
Chanel on the origins of her name:
“Chanel comes from a book on Coco that my mom was reading when she was pregnant. She admired how Coco triumphed over struggles.”
Chanel on the plans her parents had for her future:
“(My mom) actually wanted me to play basketball. My father is a basketball coach, so I grew up playing ball. I was really good.”
Chanel on her future acting plans:
“Acting. That’s my new project. I have an amazing coach in LA and I’ve been out on auditions. Hopefully you’ll see me in a couple of things soon.”
Chanel on her tattoos:
“I have three tattoos…I have one on my ring finger, it’s a red heart – it’s for when I meet the lucky man who will be my husband. He can (she sings) ‘put a ring on it.”
Chanel on who inspires her:
“Tyra Banks. She’s my mentor. She’s doing her thing, and I’m so proud of her. I think she’s proud of me too.”

Yes Naomi is so fly! She’s almost forty and she looks fabulous! Unfortunatley her attitude can overshadow her beauty, she’d get more recognition I’m sure if she had a better reputation. I was looking at people’s magazine’s most beautiful list and of course 99 percent were white. I’m like are you kidding? Women like Naomi Cambell Jourden Sparks Jessica White needed to be in that issue. Beautiful brown women not all these pale blond plastic surgery women. They may be the standard but they are not the most beautiful. Not unless you can age gracefully like Naomi Campbell!
Yeahhh despite the bad rep, Naomi still manages to look great, theres a reason shes a model and shes still around, she looks good! Shes slim, but not stick thin, another thing I love about her. She should do somethin different with her hair tho cos its common knowledge here that her hair is falling out from all the weaves, he hair line is completely gone! I’m sure she could rock a short style for a while….Rihanna style!

Naomi is the baddest chick in the game. Can’t speak on her attitude, I don’t know. But, I guess one has to have that attitude when you live in the white world, and sometimes white people have a tendency of getting out of pocket.
She is the baddest dresser ever in fashion, and she has her own sense of style. Plus, Naomi can pull the baddest men in the world. Her Russian lover right now, is sexy and paid. 1.5 billion baby. In the words of Rick James, “I’m Rich”, lol. The life.

Naomi is my favorite model and I love seeing her on covers. For this one I do not like the laugh, even though they pretend for a photo shoot, this laugh is not convincing, it looks extra fake. :sad:
