Kelly is boring. She lacks the wow factor to be a star or to be interesting for that matter. She even takes boring pics. :thumbsdown:
I hate to say bad things about positive sistas but, Kelly doesnt stand out on her own. Her image is really weak and lack originality. I hope she never makes another album again.
I think Kelly would make a beautiful model/actress.

If she were to take some serious acting courses and select better roles, I’d encourage that too. She just has to find her niche in the singing biz though. She HAS a voice; just gotta work on the presentation and break out of that Destiny’s Child performance-mode

I think she can really sing, but it’s like she’s here today and gone tomorrow. I would like to see more of her whether it’s acting or being a model. I do agree some serious acting lessons would help benefit. That’s what I meant to write earlier.
She need to step out and really do her thang. I think she scared because she still behind the knowles shadow. She need a new management team and really do the damn thing. They did not promote her at all. In the picture u can see that she is not happy the way things r going for her. GET IT TOGETHER KELLY.

i completely agree with pretty parker! you guys are being rather harsh. kelly looks great! even on her off days her natural beauty shines through! i think she should do broadway for a year to get that performance mode up, and do some more movies, she definately has acting talent! she’s more of a natural than you know who, and i find it funny that you guys say she’s unoriginal when you know who is swagger jacking everyone from rihanna (dark hair and shoes) to britney spears (performance outfits) to kylie minogue (performance outfits) to amerie (musical direction). wow! yeah kelly is definately unoriginal! she looks pissed off and bored in this photoshoot but she looks great! the outfits and setting are plain though. lol! i respect her alot, people may call her spineless but she pushed to do a tour, and a rerelease and i wish her much success! some people are not meant to be superstars and there is nothing wrong with that! kelly might not be very successful outside of dc but she has a warm personality, a generous heart, has never been seen drunk, never has anything bad to say about anyone, and always has a smile on her face, plus she’s real as hell! that puts her above ALOT of people in my book!
With that swagger jacking you should have said “Beyonce”because she’s swagger jacks a plenty. But back to Kelly i think she’s beautiful, talented, but is being wasted .maybe it’s from a lack of confidence or she just comfortable whatever Matthew says she rolls with it.
I think for a lot of people it’s getting to be old it’s nothing wrong with having the the Knowles back when they they did so much for you. but you have to think in long run is this helping my career, or hindering it

Kelly needs to find her inner diva. She is always smiling and trying to be a good girl. Good girls are for housewives. She is playing it too safe. Sometimes you have to make us somehow threatened by your confidence in order for anyone to take you seriously. This girl next door image is lame.
Kelly is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than beyonce…she is wat dis music industry needs rite now, not all dis commercial garbage from rihanna, Beyonce…………. It’s a shame to get respect and sell records you have to be light skin and dress half naked no matter if you have any vocal ability or not. I think Kelly is Awesome. I love her music. I can’t understand with all this crap people call music out here today, why people don’t support a beatuiful sistah with great music that deal with real issues of love and life. If ya’ll haven’t got Kelly’s album you are missing out.
Kelly is sooo pretty and talented. Her vocals are just not the strongest and soulful. I guess one day she will find her place in the industry.
kelly skin color has nothing to do with her record sales whatsoever, my personal opinion is she isnt a strong singer. the cd was okay not impressed enough to purchase. I really enjoyed her 1st single with eve but after that OUCH!!!!!! back in the later 90′s-early 2000′s brown skin sista’s shined and reigned. Lauryn Hill, India Arie, Jill Scott,Foxy Brown, Anita Baler ect,ect, although it appears the lighter hues are reigning(beyonce,rhianna,alicia k,ciara,mariah) it’s coincidental thats all!!!! :stop: :brownsista: :thumbsup:

it kinda sux how we hold such high standards for darker complected women. i have seen plenty of photos from the beyonce/rihanna/alicia keys lightskin gallery where they are doing the exact same pose and the compliments just overflow. i thought this site was dedicated to brownsistas..so when one is presented she doesn’t get any love?
Kelly is pretty, but the pics are not professional, they lack substance, the angles of these pics are all wrong…looks like something i would take while goofing around…if we are going to do it, we should at least get it right, hire a professional photographer and an interior decorater to design the set…These pics just don’t do her any justice…
