New music from singer Brooke Valentine recently surfaced online and with a title like “Badunkadunk” the sista is clearly aiming to make her return to the musical scene a memorable one. Brooke is probably best known for her single “Girl Fight” which was a modest radio hit back in 2005. However, her sophomore album “Physical Education” was shelved when it’s first two singles “D-Girl and “Pimped Out” failed to live up the previous success of “Girl Fight”. So far “Physical Education” continues to be delayed but maybe if “Badunkadunk” catches fire her record label will see fit to finally release it to the public. Sometimes these songs that come out are simply for a quick buck. Besides her beautiful tone and beautiful face, the sound is generic, the lyrics are not moving or meaningful and the background music sound like so much of what is saturated out there. This woman has a beautiful voice that has committed a song selection suicide. I hope her the best as she moves forward.

I thought this girl maybe packed up her belongings & found another avenue for employment. Well the song basically sounds like the rest of the booty music of the world, which frankly I am quiet tired of. Besides the beat the song does not carry much weight. I vote nay for this 1, but knowing the ppl of the world it will probably blow up & be a huge success… go figure.
Her first album chain Letter was ok, it wasn’t the best… I wasn’t a particular fan of girlfight either.
This new song sounds abit wack as well, I mean the beat is ok but the lyrics and everything are abit lame.
Maybe other stuff will sound better ….
I honestly love it. Its not often that you’ll find a song called BADUNKADUNK. I also believe that now-a-days you need to make a song like this for it to go anywhere. Brooke has a fantastic voice and you can tell in most of her songs. I don’t know about you but this sounds like something that would be great in the club or something like that.

Judging by the title I’m not even going to listen to this song. If this song has more substance that its’ title, then I missed out but I am willing to take that risk. I’m tired of hearing black music like this
