Nicole Beharie to be Honored by Reel Sisters

Reel Sisters to Honor Nicole Beharie

We have some rare Nicole Beharie news to share with everyone. According to their official website, Reel Sisters of the Diaspora Film Festival & Lecture Series is set to honor the former Sleepy Hollow actress at their upcoming award ceremony on October 7th at the newly renovated Billie Holiday Theatre in Brooklyn, New York.

Other nominees include Tamara Tunie and former Broadway actress Vinie Burrows. Tickets are on sale now and range in price from $35 – $45.

Since leaving Sleepy Hollow in 2016, Nicole has kept a relatively low profile. Though she’s set to co-star in the remake of Jacob’s Ladder, that film appears to be in limbo, having no official release date or distributor. Fans looking to stay up-to-date on the actress’ career can check out her Instagram page, where from time-to-time she’ll come out of hiding to throw her followers a bone like the one above.

  1. Wow, pettiness, anger, throwing unnecessary shade, Brown Sista??? not a good look. You just lost a subscriber.

  2. There isn’t an ounce of shade in this article. I’m a huge Nicole Beharie fan and have been for quite sometime. Were you an actual subscriber I think you’d know that by now.
