Olivia Debuts New Single: Walk Away

Former J Records protégée turned reality show star, Olivia Longott, is back with (somewhat) new music. After her single “December” failed to make the impact she had hoped for, the 30-year old Brooklyn native went back into the studio, returning with “Walk Away,” another slow jam co-written and produced by her manager Rich Dollaz.

If you watch “Love & Hip-Hop” then you know a little bit about Olivia’s struggles to re-establish herself in the music industry.

After being the first artist signed to Clive Davis’ newly launched J Records back in 2000, Olivia was let go in 2002 after releasing just one album. Two years later she became the first female to be signed to G-Unit Records, unfortunately she never released an album and in 2007 it was announced that the two parties had gone their separate ways.

A free agent ever since, Olivia has steadily been recording and releasing new music, hoping to once again land a deal with a major label.

Has she finally done it? Give the new track a listen and let us know.
