On The Set: Queen Of Media
The Wendy Williams biopic, Queen Of Media, started shooting some months ago but I am only now getting my hands on a few images from the set. As you all know, Robin Givens will be playing Wendy, however pics of her in full Wendy “mode” have not been spotted. As a matter of fact, when I did a search for info on the movie on IMDB it says the movie is in pre-production and it appears all the original cast members have been replaced. Neither Angell Conwell or Treach are listed as cast members anymore, even though they started principle shooting on the film back in May. Filming took place in Washington Square Park and even made the news here in New York. So is the film still on or has it along with the original cast members been scrapped? Only time will tell, but I was so looking forward to seeing Robin pull off Wendy on the big screen.

Honestly, I will watch this movie when it comes out even if I have a love/hate thing for Wendy. I love that she has come so far with her life, overcoming her drug addiction to become a major tv & radio personality, respectable mom and wife. But I truly HATE it when she is in full gossip mode and insults her listeners or callers.
Also, I’m a Robin Givens fan so I’ll definitely watch to support her.

I like Wendy at least she is honest. She looks hideous alot of times but I like her better than Miss Jones.

Is it coming on VH1 (please, tell me it’s not going be released in theaters)? Interested in seeing who’ll play Wendy officially.
sidenote: I’m watching The Tyra Banks Show right now, what do you all think of Tyra playing Wendy Williams???? I think she fits the role perfectly
