I was totally bored today and had posted all the articles I intended to post until I came across these gawd awful photos of Meagan Good and her new boobs decked out in a dress I have seen her wearing several times before. Now I know in the past it has been said she had been augmented but I didn’t believe it or care for that matter. It’s not like plastic surgery is new to celebs. But once I got a whiff of these new uber boobs of hers, I was too through. For a sista who is always complaining of not being taken seriously as an actress, she is making all the wrong moves in order to be taken seriously.

If that name does not sound familiar to you then you are obviously not a fan of 90’s R n’ B like I am. Cindy Herron or Cindy Herron- Braggs as she sometimes goes by, is or was 1/3 of the greatest female singing group in history, En Vogue. While browsing WI this morning I immediately saw pics of a Dreamgirls revival that is showing in Atlanta and to my surprise Cindy has been cast to play the role of Deena Jones and Jennifer Holliday, God bless her soul, is once again playing the role of Effie White.

Singers Kelis and Amerie both thrilled their overseas fans by performing at annual music festivals. Kelis took to the stage in Switzerland to perform at the Gurten Open Air Festival, while Amerie thrilled crowds in the U.K., performing at their yearly T4 On The Beach party. Today’s random celebrity sightings post consists of some of my favorite brown sistas. From Janet Jackson to Melyssa Ford, we have Black Women from all walks of Hollywood life covered. First up however is Keyshia Cole who held her album release party last night. Keyshia is sporting a new shorter do that I really like and it reminds me quite a bit of Rihanna’s new shorter style. Hopefully both these ladies will usher in a less in more look for celebrity sistas when it come to their hair.

So many people reposted it on their sites to the point where friends of mine were sending it to me totally unaware that I had written it. I have decided to repost it here after reading several comments made by sistas throughout the blogsphere concerning Polow Da Don and his hairstyle of choice. Like most people, braids on men never bothered me before, but the older I got the more they disturbed me as I found many traits I disliked seemed to be found in men with braids, or as I like to say, men who wear their hair like little girls.

Remember just how mediocre you thought Umbrella was when you first heard it? Well don’t you all feel silly now? The Europeans are loving this song to the tenth power and then some. In the U.K alone Umbrella is set to spend a tenth week in the top spot, becoming the longest running #1 single in that country in over a decade. Over here in the States the song is doing even better as it has already spent 13 weeks at the top of the Hot 100 chart and may actually stand a chance of becoming the longest running #1 single here as well, besting Boyz 2 Men who have held that coveted title for almost 15 years with their single, End Of The Road. Wow! Who would have thought?
Talk about a blast from the past. I am sure the most of you haven’t heard the name Charli Baltimore in over ten years and even I hadn’t thought of the sista until I came across this pic of her with Ashanti. As some of you may remember, waaay back in the 90’s Ashanti and Charli were suppose to do for The Inc. what Hersheys did for chocolate. Unfortunately, only one of these sistas would go on to super stardom while the other would basically disappear into oblivion- but not for lack of talent. I think Charli was actually a decent rapper who was simply cursed with mediocre songs and a record label that was more interested in exploiting her past with Biggie rather than her skills on the Mic. Okay, I can hear some of you laughing right now (Nova), but I never the sista was Rakim, only that she was a decent MC.
