What madness have Beyonce and Shakira started? Rumor has it Jennifer Lopez’s upcoming English language album will have her performing a duet with Ciara. Apparently interracial female dancing is in as I can see no other reason why these two totally opposite performers would ever come together. Though both ladies are brilliant dancers, I can’t really see sparks flying between these two as their musical and dance styles are so totally different. Still, it would be interesting to see what type of song and video they would come up with. Whatever they do it would have to be spectacular as we know the comparisons to Beyonce and Shakira would be sure to follow.

Singer Olivia is not letting her dismissal from the G-Unit get her down as the blonde beauty is apparently in talks to start her own lingerie and fragrance line to be sold through Victoria Secret stores and catalogs. For those of you who are fans of her music you need not worry as she has started her own Production Company and is in the studio working on a new album with producers Rodney Jerkins and Ne-Yo. And just in case you can’t wait for the new album, here is a new track from the sista called Missing You .

Rapper Eve made her first public appearance since being arrested for DUI at Radio One’s Summer Fest Concert over the weekend. The sista took to the stage and performed a medley of her hits as well as a few tracks from her upcoming album. After the concert Eve held a meet and greet where she spoke to the press and rubbed elbows with various radio personalities and programmers. As expected, Eve was very tight lipped about her arrest as well as the late night jail visit actor Sean Penn paid her. However, seeing as though she was photographed talking to Jamie Foster Brown, I’m sure it’s a safe bet to say that we will be reading the full story in an upcoming issue of Sister2Sister Magazine.

Singer Beyonce Knowles is featured on the cover of June’s Vibe magazine. Below are the pics- which I know are quite late but Vibe took their slow sweet time sending me my special copy of the magazine that I actually get faxed to me every month. This keeps me from having to scan images but instead of sending the mag to me weeks in advance as Vibe claimed they would, they actually send it to me late. Still, for those of you who want the pics, here they are. Enjoy.

The hardest working woman in show business took a night off from her world tour to perform for her fans on German television. Beyonce took to the Bravo Super Show stage to perform a medley of her hits and accept the Goldener Otto media prize. The readers’ prize is awarded by Germany’s youth magazine BRAVO. Destiny’s Child was awarded this prize as well back in 2002.

Actress Halle Berry threw her model boyfriend Gabriel Aubry a surprise birthday bash last night in New York City. The party was sponsored by Calvin Klein and was held in the Willemina offices. As many of you know, Gabriel was a model and he and Halle met when they both worked on a campaign for Calvin Klein. Gabriel must be doing something right because Halle is absolutely glowing. Likewise, Halle’s romance game must be just as tight because Gabriel is looking pretty darn happy himself. Good for them !
